After managing a team of over 40 therapists at a high-volume franchise massage studio at the age of only 20, I got to see the dark side of the corporate world, how employees are treated, taken advantage of, and what it's like to manage that type of system.
That experience forced me to realize: I wanted to create something massively different for my own business. I wanted to see better scenarios for massage therapists in general.
What started out as a pipe dream turned into one of the biggest growth opportunities I have experienced to-date - all of the learning experiences which I have distilled into this 6-Module course.
I hired my first employee in 2018, and man... was it different than I ever expected it to be. Much of what I learned happened through little failures and challenges which could have been easily avoided.
Most Massage Therapists don't have the knowledge to start out successfully as an employer. I certainly didn't. Even though it was a continuously rewarding process becoming better and better along the way, I found a glaring need for support in this process.
In my time employing numerous Massage Therapists and administrative staff as I grew my business, I spent tens of thousands of dollars consulting with business advisers, leadership coaches, wellness business professionals - you name it, I consulted with them. I was committed to developing a better version of employment in this industry.
I truly believe that when practitioners are empowered to effectively lead teams of other bodyworkers, there will be a surge of sustainable employment opportunities which will provide the less entrepreneurial bodyworkers a safe, supportive place to work. This will be the end to "massage mill" chains and the 2-year burnout average. When small, MT-owned & operated businesses have the support they need to thrive, it will change everything for this profession.

A: The full 6-module course is $97 during early bird pricing and will increase to $299 after this opportunity ends. Individual classes are $27 each, and will not be offered again as single classes after each class date.

Q: Can I upgrade to the full course if I purchase an individual class?
A: This will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but it's recommended to invest in the full course now while it's heavily discounted.
Q: Is the course live, pre-recorded, or a mix of both?
A: Early-bird students can attend the course live via Zoom. Afterward, the recordings will be available as an on-demand course.
Q: How do I access the course materials?
A: You can join the live Zoom sessions or watch the replays on your course dashboard.
Q: What if I miss a live session?
A: No worries! Replays will be available. If you purchased a single class, you'll have one month to watch the replay. Those who register for the full 6-Module course will get lifetime access.
Q: Is there a deadline to complete the course for CE credit?
A: No, once the course is approved, the date you complete the final quiz will be reflected on your CE certificate. The quiz will be available to take by March 20th. CE approval is not guaranteed, and is expected by June 2025.
Q: Who is approving the course for CE credit?
A: The course is being submitted to NCBTMB for Home-Study CE approval. New York State approval is unlikely, as this is a business course. It is your responsibility as a student to ensure your state accepts NCBTMB-approved home-study CEs for your licensure renewal.
Q: Will CE credits apply retroactively to individual classes?
A: No, CE credits will only apply to students who complete the full 6-module course. Individual sessions are not being submitted for CE approval.
Q: What kind of CE documentation will I receive?
A: Once the course has been approved by NCBTMB, you'll receive a PDF certificate upon completion of the final quiz.
Q: Do I need any materials or supplies to take this course?
A: No special materials are needed—just a computer with Zoom for live sessions or internet access for replays.

Q: Will I need to submit any assignments?
