What will I learn in this course?
You will learn how to work with the muscles within the face and jaw to provide lasting relief for your clients who experience jaw pain, dental alignment issues, headaches, migraines, and more!
This course focuses on assessment and treatment skills so that you can take your facial work to the next level.
This work is great at helping aesthetic aspects of the face, but we focus a lot more on treatment of specific muscles, and effective lymphatic flow for resolution of pain and alignment considerations.
You will also learn how to work intra-orally and combine it with cupping therapy for a dynamic and extremely effective treatment! Your clients will be extremely impressed and will get massive relief from their jaw and facial pain patterns!
I am already trained in facial cupping - how is this different?
Most Facial Cupping trainings focus on the lymphatic and aesthetic benefits, and don't teach about the specific muscles within the face and jaw which contribute to pain.
Because of this, those of us with clients who suffer from jaw pain are only getting the surface of what is possible with this effective work!
There is also no other training which teaches you how to combine facial cupping techniques with intra-oral treatments. If you want to truly specialize in pain patterns of the jaw, head, and face - this class is for you!
Do I need to be trained in NCT to take this course?
This course will teach you many new skills outside of the main NCT curriculum, and NCT is not a prerequisite to take this course. However, this class is definitely a big supplement to the Upper Body NCT course, and in order to be as effective with this work as possible, we encourage you to also consider that curriculum to amplify your skills and understanding!
Do I need any new equipment to take this course? Does this course come with equipment?
If you have facial cups of any kind already, you will be able to get started with this course. If you don't have facial cups yet, there is still lots to learn within this course before they arrive in the mail!
We go into detail in the course about which cups are most effective for this style of work, and much of it is dependent on your personal preference. We recommend a combination of facial cupping sets, which we share more about in the course.
How many CEs will I get?
This course, as it is brand new, has not yet been approved for CEs. We need at least 5 people to complete the course and fill out a feedback form before we can submit it. We will be applying for 3 CEs for this course, and plan on receiving approval by the end of 2023.
Everyone who enrolls in the course now will get retroactive CE credit once the course is officially approved.
How long will I have access to the course?
You will have LIFETIME access to the course content! We also plan on adding to the curriculum based on feedback (like we always do) which might even bump-up CE value. We won't ever charge our OG students additional to access that new content - it will simply be added to your dashboard as it gets published!
